Wales dominated the game by winning 42-0, but they will have to step up against the bigger teams if they want to defend their title. Their scrum was not good enough and Italy really tested them in that area.
Wales: Their scrum was not good enough, but they attacked very well and their backline looked very dangerous, even though North their regular wing played at center. The player that light up the entire country last year again had a great game Josh Adams again scored a bunch of tries and got his team off to the perfect start in their campaign to defend their title.
Italy: They are in a rebuilding faze and it will take more time to get their team back to a top team. At least they had a good scrum which will be a great place to start building from.
My MVP: Justin Tipuric. He was named man of the match on the day as well and it was rightly deserved. He is a great player and will look to take this Welsh team to the next World-Cup.
