Stormers vs Blues preview:

One of the games I am most looking forward to this weekend is going to be this one. The Blues who is coming of a last minute win over the Bulls in Pretoria got some of their All-Blacks back in the team. Players like Rieko Ioane will give their team a huge boost against a team that has not conceded a lot of points this season at all. The Blues will want to play the same type of game they did against the Bulls, dominate the forward battle and upset the set piece of the Stormers. The Stormers on the other hand will want to keep their defensive structure intact and if the Blues make a mistake on attack the Stormers will pounce on it and let their lightning quick wings run riot against an unsettled defensive structure. The only bad thing to say about the Stormers is that they are over playing their key players and a player like Pieter-Steph du Toit has played every single minute this season and that will burn out their star players.

Key match-up:

Pieter-Steph du Toit vs Tom Robinson: The Battle of the work horses. Pieter who needs no introduction or an explanation on how he plays will be very important for his teams success. He is the very best defender in the world and he is a key part of the Stormers defense and if he is able to get through another shift it is going to be tough to beet the Stormers. Tom who has not played his best this season was one of the stand out players of the previous season and if he has a good game he will put his team on the front foot and that will make their attack very dangerous.

My Prediction:

I believe that the Stormers are going to win the game because of their great defense this season. They are going to win by about 7 if I am to be trusted.
