This is going to be a thrilling encounter and I can’t wait. Two of the most exciting backlines going at each other. The Sharks who have had the perfect start to their tour will want to continue on the trend and take down the Hurricanes. The Cannes have won their previous game against last years finalists after losing their first game against the Stormers. They finally had a good game and were able to round of and well that one very important penalty kick of Jordie Barrett. The Sharks back three is very dangerous and if their forward pack is able to give them the ball in space like they did against the Highlanders they will definitely be a very hard team to beat. If the Huricanes can use their huge and very influential inside center to get over the advantage line they will also be a tough team to defend against.
Key match-ups:
Jordie Barrett vs Aphelele Fassi: This is going to be a very exciting battle. Barrett is one of the worlds most exciting players and although we have not seen the best of him so far this year if he gets it right he really does get it right. but he is up a formidable player and one of the most elusive players who is able to carve a whole through any defense. If either of these players get the ball with even a bit of space they will punish the other team. For all neutral fans we all hope that both of them have a great game an are able to set the game on fire.
Vaea Fifita vs James Venter: I know that Fifita has more of a reputation than Venter, but if you rank them on current form Venter outranks any flanker in super rugby. Fifita will have to pull up his socks and have a great game if his team is to challenge in the forward side of the game because the Sharks aren’t standing back for anything. James is one of my favorite players so far this season and he will become one of the worlds best.
Ben Lam vs Makazole Mapimpi: This is another mouth watering battle any rugby fan can’t wait to see. The guy who is a legend among his team mates Mapimpi is one of the best wingers in the world and he will want to build on that reputation. Lam is one of the most prolific try scorers ever and with his size he is a very difficult winger to defend. These two will want to feed of their teams front foot ball and if they get the opportunity they will finish the game of and take the other team out of the game.

My prediction:
I believe the Sharks is going to win this game because of their forward pack. They are a better pack on paper and I believe that the team with a better forward pack is in the driving seat to win the game and if you look at the rest of their team they match up to the Canes. That is why I believe that the Sharks are going to win this game.
