Super rugby team of the week: week 1:

These teams is going be selected like a fantasy team not a playimng team.

Props:

Stevin Kitshoff – He is one of the great props in the world and he showed his worth this weekend against the sharks. He won the scrum battle against the tank Thomas du Toit. He also run the bowl well and made allot of tackles.

Ox Nche – He was one of the best players in the Sharks team and lived up to the hype he created replacing the Beast.

Hooker:

Julián Montoy – He was very influential in the win over the Lions, He is being picked to start before Agustín Creevy and any player that can do that will be a great player.

Locks:

Guido Petti – He seems to have kept his form from last year. Even though he is not the biggest lock in the comp he is definitely one of the most capable ones. If he plays the whole season like he did they will be a very tough team to beet.

Salmaan Moerat – This guy must have learned from Pieter Steph because he was a lock playing like and extra loose forward. He stole a couple of balls in the breakdown made allot of tackles and was a menace in the lineout.

Loose Forwards:

Lachlan Boshier – The Chiefs flanker had an excellent game, and was a critical part of his teams comeback in the second half. He made allot of tackles steals and runs. He even outplayed Sam Cane wich is no mean feet.

Jaco Coetzee – I know he might not be the best known player in the Stormers back row but he outplayed both of his counterparts, and I know it is still early but he has definitely put his name up for Springbok selection come later this year.

Du’Plessis Kirifi – He was the one shining light in the Hurricanes pack and played allot like Ardie Savea. He was hard to bring down to the ground and tried very hard to bring the physicality back to the Stormers.

Scrumhalf:

Hershiel Jantjies – He was the first name on the sheet and there is not much to say. His game was as close to perfect as can be and his two tries was crucial to put away the game. He even outplayed Perenara which is not easy and their is not allot of players capable of that.

Flyhalf:

Aaron Cruden – He is going to be a very controversial pick because he came of the bench, but I believe that if the Chiefs brought him on a bit later they would not have been able to come back in the game. His attacking speed and great ball distribution put his team into another gear that took the game away from the Blues

Centers:

Braydon Ennor – This young center is a great addition and Scott last year played him brilliantly knowing players like Crotty would leave the club and gave him allot of game time and it showed. He is a great center and ads to the danger in the Crusaders backline he tackled great and made allot of running meters.

Matías Moroni – Another one of the Jaguares players in my team and well it is well deserved. He dissected the lions defense and if he can keep doing that he is going to light up the game and his team is going to very tough to beat.

Back Tree:

Emiliano Boffelli – He was one of the players I said to look out for in the Jaguares team and he proved me right he is one of the most dangerous players in the game and if you give him space he will run circles around your defense.

David Havili – He finally impressed me I know that there has been allot of talk about him, but it is the first time he impressed me. He was dangerous coming into first receiver and distributed the ball well. He was dangerous on the counter attack and had good defense.

Will Jordan – Another one of the great youngsters in the Crusaders team his finishing was great and that helped his team win the game with a bonus point.

That is my team of the weak if you think I made a mistake let me know who you would pick and why
