The Jaguares has lost their influential captain Pablo Matera, but that is about it. They are probably the team that kept the most of their international players. They will be a huge force to recon with and their team will build on their previous performances claiming second in the comp last year. Hopefully they will not think too much of the disappointment of the world cup seeing that they make up most of the Argentine team. Their backline is very explosive and can poke holes in most defences. Their huge forward pack will also dominate most other forward packs which will make the team very though competition to play against.
Players to look out for:
Emiliano Boffelli: He is one of the most exciting players in the world at the moment and will be looking to grab every counter attacking opportunity with both hands if it comes. He will also have to step up as a leader this year and not only be an exciting player but as one of the senior players of the team this year he will have to set an example for the youngsters with his work rate.
Agustín Creevy: He truly leads from the front even thou his career is coming to an end he will still be a great force to reckon with. He might not be the fastest, fittest or even best hooker in the competition he has a great mind for rugby and you will always see him in the right place at the right time. He is such a great reader of the game and he must try and pass on his experience to the youngsters. He might not get a lot of game time but the if he does he will be a great asset to the team.
