Brumbies squad dissection

The Brumbies have lost probably their two most influential players of the past seasons in the form of David Pocock and Christian Lealiifano. It will be very difficult to replace them. They will most certainly hope that this season Tom Banks will step up and finally reach his full potential. With the Australian fullback jersey also up for grabs after the Israel Follow saga,he will be gunning for that spot.

The person they recruited to fill Pocock’s shoes is Will Miller from the Waratahs he will have his hands full with that but the rest of the loosies will have to step up and share the great man’s (Pocock) work load. They also recruited a young player straight out of school. The young Reesjan Pasitoa is a flyhalf sensation and if the pundits have it right, will be seeing a lot of game time and become the youngest ever Brumbie.

Players to look out for :

Tom Banks : The elusive fullback is a huge threat on the counter attack and can cut threw any defence. He is also secure under the high ball just need to work on his defence a bit more.

Folau Fainga’a : The hooker last year scored the third most tries in the comp with a grand total of 12, most of it came of the back of the Brumbies’ impressive maul witch is another thing too look out for from this forwards dominant team.

Reesjan Pasitoa : The young sensation signed straight out of school and is looking forward too see how he compare with the best players in the world. He says that his age doesn’t matter to him and that he is ready too fill Lealiifano’s shoes and become the Brumbies’ first choice flyhalf.
